NYLT National Youth Leadership Training – June 2024

What: National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is an action-packed program designed to provide youth members with leadership skills and experiences they can use in their troops, crews, or ships. It’s a hands on, how to, course delivered in a unit and patrol centered, outdoor setting.
Who: All participants must be a registered member of a Scouting unit.
Scouts BSA: must be at least 13 and hold the rank of First Class. They must have completed “Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops”.
Venturers and Sea Scouts: must be at least 14, or 13 and have completed eighth grade, and fall within the maximum age allowance for their program. They must have completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Crews or Ships. It is recommended that they have had at least one year of camping experience.

Pre-course meeting:
Please attend a pre-course meeting at Treasure Valley East Lodge on Thursday June 6 at 7:30pm.
Weeklong: June 23-28 at Treasure Valley Scout Reservation (limit 48 Scouts)
