June Roundtable / 2024-2025 Program Launch

The Heart of New England Program Launch is an annual showcase of scouting programs, resources, activities, and information from our scouters, our  Council, and  exhibitors from outside of scouting.  Together, they all offer your unit great ideas and resources to help provide your scouts a great scouting program!

DATE:  Monday June 10, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:30PM. Doors open at 6:00PM for fellowship. Program begins at 7:00PM.
LOCATION:  St. Joseph Parish Center (68 Central St. Auburn MA 01501)
Light Fare will be provided

Who Should Come to Program Launch?

Every unit should have at least one leader at Program Launch. But don’t stop there! Scoutmasters and Venturing Advisors, bring your Senior Patrol Leaders and Crew Officers!  Assistant Scoutmasters and Den Leaders should attend too! The more leaders that attend, the more ideas you will bring back to your unit.

General Session “Big Rock”: Let’s Get Ready to Plan; Making Sure Your Unit is Ready for its Annual Program Planning Meeting

Six breaks out sessions to choose from:

1. Have Fun!! But Keep it Safe; Outdoor Program health and safety tips
2. So Your Unit Wants to do High Adventure?; Learn about High Adventure Opportunities
3. The Sign Up Night Playbook; Have a great joining Scouting night
4. Whose Next? Don’t Let Adults Sit on the Sidelines; Developing leaders
5. Don’t Get Stuck In a Rut Doing the Same Old Same Old; Scouts, BSA program pizazz
6. Think BIG!!; Cub Scout program pizazz
