DESCRIPTION:This rifle merit badge make-up session is intended only for Scouts who participated in Rifle Shooting Merit Badge at Camp Wanocksett or Treasure Valley summer camp and need to complete unfinished requirements. \n\nScouts will have the opportunity to finish outstanding requirements\, receive instruction from qualified merit badge counselors\, and complete any remaining range qualification requirements as allowed. \nThis is an open make-up session from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM — come anytime during the event to complete your remaining requirements.\nPlease bring: \n\nYour blue card or merit badge record or scoutbook plus print out of requirements needed.\nEye and ear protection (if you have your own)\nWeather-appropriate clothing\n\nSpace is limited to 40 participants. In\naddition\, the teaching methods\, activities\, and games model the variety of teaching used in effective and engaging Scouting programs. \nHands-on participation is the best learning tool\, and this course models the techniques used by effective Scoutmasters\, advisors\, and other leaders in the Scouting program. Attendees will see and\nexperience different aspects of how Scouting works while playing the role of Scouts in a troop. \nParticipants should leave the training experience with a full understanding of how the patrol method operates\, a feeling of comfort in working with and instructing their Scouts\, and an increased level\nof confidence taking Scouts outdoors safely. DESCRIPTION:What is Webelos Woods?\nWebelos Woods is an overnight experience for Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts and a parent or guardian.  The Scouts will have the opportunity to experience a ‘Day in the Life’ of Scouting America Summer Camp.  This is an opportunity to camp out with your Scout and enjoy the beauty of Camp Wanocksett on the banks of Thorndike Pond and in the shadow of Mount Monadnock. \nYour Scout will have the opportunity to earn an activity badge\, experience the multitude of activities that are available to them at Summer Camp\, enjoy an AWESOME campfire\, cook their own meals outside\, and see the youth staff in action bringing the program to them. \nWebelos Woods takes place Saturday September 26 and Sunday September 27 at Camp Wanocksett. \nIf you would like to purchase a T-shirt for your Scout\, yourself or anyone else\, please choose the option to add T-shirts below. T-Shirts are $12. NOTE: T-shirt orders close on 9/11 so we will have them in time for the event.  \nRegistration cost for each Webelo and Arrow of light participant includes one patch for the scout.
