Merit Badge University 2024

Cost per Scout to attend this event and participate in two (2) merit badge classes is $20.

Please read through this information carefully and follow the directions on how to pay and register for the classes. 

Merit Badge University returns in 2024! Join us for three Saturdays of incredible learning, fun and advancement.

Scouts can register to complete two (2) merit badges over the three MBU dates — one merit badge class in Session A (9:10 – 10:30AM) and another merit badge class during Session B (10:40AM – Noon).

LOCATION: Quabbin Regional High School (800 South St, Barre, MA 01005)

MBU DATES: January 20 / February 10 / February 24 (participants MUST attend all three Saturday sessions**)

Schedule (applies to all three dates):   
Set up (for volunteers and counselors) and Registration:   7:30 – 9:00AM
Session A:  9:10 – 10:30AM
Session B:  10:40AM – Noon
Clean Up:  12:00 – 12:30PM

MBU 2024 be able to accommodate about 200 Scouts in each session and Scouts must attend the three dates in order to earn the badge.  **EXCEPTION: The only session that will not run on the three dates is Salesmanship, it will take place on the first and last day ( Session A only). This merit badge would be a good option for a Scout who is not able to attend the second date and does not have the time to stay for both A and B sessions.  See below for the full list of Merit Badges being offered.

HOW TO REGISTER:

1. Scroll down to the tickets below and choose ‘MBU Registration’ and add a ticket(s) to your cart. (The cost to attend MBU is $20 per person whether you attend one or both sessions)
2. Choose the merit badges you would like to attend and add them to your cart. Please note that different classes have different participation limits.
3. There should be THREE (3) ITEMS IN YOUR CART when you go to check out.
