Archery Clinic

HSC Volunteer Cadre, Crew 250 Harvard

and

Heart of New England Council Range & Target Activities Committee are hosting an Archery Clinic

at the Harvard Sportsmen’s Club located at 250 Littleton County Road in Harvard, MA

Learn to:

· Shoot Universal Compound Bows and Recurve Bows following the 11 Steps of USA Archery

· Bow Inspection for Compounds and Recurves

· Bow String making for recurve bows

· How to inspect, repair and make arrows, all participants get to make an arrow if they wish

· Learn to Score Targets, what an end and a round are

Instructors:

· Practice running a live fire range

· Work on individual skills you want to improve on, we will have Level 1, 2, 2IT’s and 3’s on site to help you become a more proficient Instructor or Archer

You must pre-register by January 24, 2025 to attend the event, space is limited and we expect to have a waiting list as this is opened to a variety of groups. Email: Crew Advisor and HSC Archery CO-Chair Tim Bradbury at tpbradbury@verizon.net to secure your space ASAP.

We will also be offering Range Master Training for BSA Leaders in the morning from 9 am to noon for those that want to take it.
