Calling all Scouts! Are you ready to test your skills, teamwork, and grit in the frosty wilderness? The Soaring Eagle Klondike Derby is your chance to brave the cold, conquer challenges, and earn bragging rights in a day packed with Scout spirit and outdoor fun.

Inspired by the legendary Klondike Gold Rush, this winter event features patrol-based competitions in fire building, first aid, sled racing, and more—all designed to sharpen your Scout skills and leadership. Whether you’re hauling your homemade sled or navigating icy trails, you’ll be part of a tradition that celebrates resilience, resourcefulness, and camaraderie.

Don’t miss this unforgettable winter adventure. Bundle up, bring your patrol, and soar like an eagle!

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Scouts, Venturers & Arrow of Lights. No Webelo Dens – units can register up to two patrols of eight scout each.
Arrow of Lights must be accompanied by and registered with a Scout Troop!

Patrol Fee………………………….$125.00 per Patrol, includes up to 8 youth & 2 adults

Extra Patches …………………………………………………………………………$4.00 each
Patrol Fee includes: 10 Klondike Derby Patches, Coffee/Hot Chocolate for youth and adults, facility use and all event program supplies.
